Are you looking to start or grow your career in Healthcare Administration?
As an Administrator in Training, you will learn the Federal and State regulations for skilled nursing administration and complete the 1000-hour training program to be eligible to sit for the state and federal board exams. The program duration is typically ten (10) months. During this training, you will spend time rotating through all departments within the facility.
The ideal candidate will possess the knowledge and ability to manage the total operations of the facility through administrative ability, leadership, initiative, resourcefulness, strong communication and interpersonal skills, executive and analytical ability. Maintain and develop relationships with referral sources. Employ qualified personnel and ensure adequate staff education and evaluation for all personnel involved. Develop and expand the revenue performance and grow market share of the facility. Represent Dycora Transitional Health in the community and share our vision and values.
Assures that the facility meets and exceeds all applicable regulatory requirements.
Maintains key relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, and other health care organizations and referral sources.
Assures assignment of patient care staff based on competency of available personnel. Monitors scheduling of patient care staff to provide adequate coverage.
Demonstrates leadership/management skills by maintaining high employee satisfaction and low employee turnover rates.
Supervises periodic reviews of patient charts, employee qualifications, and daily activity reports.
Assures the facility?s financial success including census development, expense management, labor management and A/R collections.
Oversees the recruitment, hiring, and training of staff.
Plans and conducts staff meetings and IDT meetings.
Assures optimum productivity levels of staff and utilization of services by managing budget within staffing model guidelines.
Actively participates in community education and serves as a resource for professional contacts.
Responsible for monitoring satisfaction surveys to identify trends and resolve problem areas.
Dycora operates 18 skilled nursing centers in the central valley area of California with 8 in Wisconsin.
+ Bachelor's degree.
+ Must be familiar with the California, Central Valley area. Relocation assistance is not offered or provided.
+ Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of business or clinical management experience, preferably in a related health care field.
+ Must have prior experience in budgeting, profit and loss management, billing and cash collections, reading and interpreting financial reports.
+ Must be able to demonstrate leadership qualities in past achievements and/or previous work experience.
+ Must be able to relocate to where an opening is available once training period is over.
+ Must possess basic computer skills.
+ Must be capable of performing the essential job functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
+ Must demonstrate strong leadership and management skills.
+ Must be capable of working with minimal supervision.
+ Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information.
+ Must be able to relate positively and professionally to patients, families, and government regulators, and to work cooperatively with other employees at all levels.
+ Must meet all local health regulations, pass pre-employment criminal background check and drug testing, and pass post-employment physical exam if required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
