Job Description:
This position manages a team of 12-16 Maintenance Mechanics and 3 other support staff.
Assigns work accordingly, maintains the department's work schedule, follows through with employee training, disciplinary action, and performance appraisal.
Areas of responsibility will include all areas of the Plant.
The Manager also participates in regulatory agency audits and inspections.
A Preventative Maintenance schedule and assignments are also required.
REQUIREMENTS Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Must have a minimum of ten years industrial maintenance experience.
Must have a minimum of five years as a Maintenance Manager or Supervisor.
Must have metal fabrication skills, be able to use welding and cutting tools.
Must have experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical schematics.
Must be familiar working with pumps, electrical controls, conveyors, PLC.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must be able to speak, read, and write proficiently in English.
Prefer at least five years in poultry production.
